prep work

Have you ever heard someone say "a lot of littles adds up to a big"? Well, it's true! Every project involves many "little" steps, or prep work, before becoming that completed piece.  This week I've been working on sourcing miniature air plants for the new leather animal air plant holders that were just added to the shop.  These little guys just arrived and after their long journey from Wisconsin they needed a spa day!  Did you know that air plants do best when soaked in a water bath for about 15 minutes every 1-2 weeks?
